(1) What types of techniques are taught?
Students are taught a variety of combination strikes that involve the fist, elbow, foot, shin and knee. In addition, there are strength training exercises to increase one's overall muscle tone.

Every student is given a personalized training program designed to suit their skill level. Students are able to train anytime during the open gym hours.
(3) How much does it cost to join?
The individual club membership rate is $120 per month (2 classes per week) / $150 per month (3 classes per week). Students pay on a month to month basis (no contract involved). The drop-in rate is $20 per class.
(4) Are the techniques practical for self-defense?
The use of realistic training dummies helps students to properly strike one's opponent with maximum speed, power, and control. The techniques are geared toward mid to close range attacks that can be translated readily to street self-defense situations.
Instructor Jonathan Louie has over 40 years of experience in the martial arts and is a personal fitness trainer with a university educational degree in Kinesiology (Sports Science).
